Multimedia performance artist Nicole Peyrafitte was born in Luchon (French Pyrenees) into the 5th generation of a family of restaurateurs. Since moving to Albany in 1992, she has dedicated herself to multimedia art work. She considers each step of her work an attempt to fulfill her compulsion to learn through a process of immersion that generates performances incorporating voice/ painting/ videos/ writing and often cooking. Peyrafitte will be performing with saxophonist Joe Giardullo.
