Angela Kaufman talks about her novel Quiet Man
Angela Kaufman, a local author talks about her new novel Quiet Man. Quiet Man is a crime drama that explores the exploitation of working people, animals, and the environment under a predatory capitalist system. Readers will be exposed to the hidden world of slaughter that goes from toxic masculinity to speciesism, institutionalized racism and classism. Quiet Man is a work of fiction, though several scenes take place inside the slaughterhouse and are inspired by actual undercover investigative reports of worker and animal abuse in this industry.
