Cohoes’ New Lebanese Restaurant

Inspired by her mother-in-law Marie’s homestyle cooking, Brenda Hage opened Teta Marie’s Lebanese restaurant, in Cohoes at a very challenging time. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic’s in-person dining limitations, Teta Marie’s, with its unique flavors and easy takeout, has been a hit in the neighborhood. HMM correspondent Corinne Carey talked to Brenda about her mother-in-law’s recipes, za’atar fries, how the community has reacted to Lebanese food, and Brenda’s other diverse new business ventures.
