A look at Iroquois history with Perry Ground

Perry Ground, trustee of the Iroquois Museum in Howes Cave, NY, talks with HMM producer Brea Barthel about the history of the Iroquois Confederation and contemporary concerns. The six Iroquois nations (Mohawk, Seneca, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, and later Tuscarora) “controlled” the area now known as upstate, central, and Western New York for hundreds of years. The museum honors the past while focusing on contemporary art and culture. For more details, visit iroquoismuseum.org.
