Using Bright Colors and BIPOC Representation to Unite Divided Troy Neighborhoods
The Uniting Line is an art project that transformed a 500 foot stretch of road under the Hoosick Street Bridge with paint and co-collaboration. Jade Warrick, aka Trash Kid, is the artist behind the art that aims to unify downtown Troy and North Central Troy despite the dividing highway.
HMM’s Sina Basila Hickey spoke with Belinda Colón- curator at The Arts Center of the Capital Region, co-directors Kendra and Cynthia, and resident volunteers.
