Collard City Growers Workshop: Tending the Urban Forest with More Trees Arborist Collective

Join the arborists of the More Trees Collective for a workshop in the urban forest. Learn to identify common opportunist species of urban trees, discuss different techniques and objectives of pruning, when to remove trees, when to plant trees and help the crew manage the Sanctuary’s fledgling reforestation projects. More Trees Arborist Collective is a worker-owned cooperative of ISA-Certified Arborists and support crew who work to provide environmentally conscious tree care for residential, municipal, and commercial clients throughout the Hudson Mohawk Region. We identify, assess, and mitigate tree risk while encouraging the preservation and planting.
We are committed to lowering the barriers to access for events at The Sanctuary for Independent Media.
