Chris Hedges: “Fascism in the Age of Trump”

Following our WOOC 105.3 fundraiser vegan dinner, special guest Chris Hedges returns to The Sanctuary to speak about corporatism, government, and “Fascism in the age of Trump.” With experience varying from teaching at Princeton University to 15 years as a foreign correspondent for over 50 countries, Hedges’ work offers a unique and poignant perspective. We are so excited to have him return to our North Central Troy community! We are so excited to have him return to our North Central Troy community in November! Hedges will be joining us for a fundraising dinner immediately before his talk.
“Hedges…was ordained as a minister for social witness at the Second Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth, N.J. The theologian James Cone, the father of Black Liberation Theology, preached the sermon along with Cornel West. The ordination was approved for his work in New Jersey prisons where Hedges has taught college credit courses for nearly a decade.”
