“The New Bread Basket” with author Amy Halloran

Troy author and activist Amy Halloran will speak about her new book The New Bread Basket: How the New Crop of Grain Growers, Plant Breeders, Maltsters, Bakers, Brewers, and Local Food Activists Are Redefining Our Daily Loaf (Chelsea Green, 2015). The book is the culmination of years of research into the regional grain movement, marrying Amy’s love of pancakes and activism! Homemade pancakes with syrup will be served!
