Voices from the Emotional Underground: Screening of “Beyond the Medical Model” with Sera Davidow

Powerful stories with critical insight into the mental health system and a vision of alternatives, in two very different films. The evening features a screening of Ken Paul Rosenthal’s 2010 documentary Crooked Beauty, a community potluck, Beyond the Medical Model with filmmaker Sera Davidow, and a panel/public forum. The event will include screenings, a potluck, and panel discussions. Co-sponsored by iEAR Presents! NY Association for Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services, Families Together New York, the Mental Health Empowerment Project, and Youth Power!
