Mark Emanatian of CDALF Talk Unions Past & Present, Large & Small

Mark Emanatian Executive Director of the Capital District Area Labor Federation joined us on Hudson Mohawk Magazine to look at the history of unions (starting in 1830 and the negative impact of the Reagan administration) and the difference between unionizing at multi-national corporations vs small, non-profit organizations. He also emphasized the important message of the upcoming Labor Day Celebrations saying, “working people have been taking it on the chin. We have billionaires flying to the stars while families are living under cars.”
