Dr. Ng, a professor in the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies department at University at Albanyis also a historian and a documentary filmmaker. Her current documentary film, “On Her Own Terms” is in production. Dr. Ng discussed her path to becoming a documentary filmmaker and how storytelling can be a tool of empowerment with WOOC correspondent Kristen Kopper.
