Public Info Session on Closure of Burdett Birth Center Session Part 1

Hundreds of people gathered at Hudson Valley Community College for a public forum with officials from St. Peter’s Health Partners to hear about and ask questions about the proposed closure of Burdett Birth Center on June 30, 2024.

In this clip we hear from Dr. Stephen Hanks the President and CEO for St. Joseph’s Health and St. Peter’s Health Partners explaining the planned closure of Burdett Birth Center and Assemblymember John T. McDonald III reading a letter from several local elected officials and why they oppose the closure.
