Community Garden Work Day

Where: 3337 6th Ave, Troy, NY 12180
Community Work & Play Days will happen on 3rd Fridays from 3:30-5:30 pm from May through October. We will have drop in activities for families and garden tasks for our adult volunteers.
June 21 will include a Make Music Day activity with special guest Miss Deb, who will lead children and families in flower pot drumming from 4:00-5:00 pm! (come out to Freedom Fest on June 8 if you want to make a drum!)
We are open for regular open garden hours every Friday through October. Join us in tending, harvesting, and caring for the plants and the land, or just take some time to rest amongst greenery and appreciate the gifts of the garden. These open hours are family-oriented and open to all!
We are committed to lowering the barriers to access for events at The Sanctuary for Independent Media. For people who are hard of hearing or deaf, blind or low-vision, or whose physical limitations can interfere with a satisfying experience, let us know two weeks in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.
