August Activities at Lansingburgh

Big trucks, “hopepunk” books, mini-greenhouses, and even FREE school supplies. Hear about all of those activities and more coming up at Troy Public Library in August from Laurie Dreyer, manager of the Lansingburgh branch. On the 7th for “big truck day” you can crawl inside an ambulance, a police cruiser, and even a fire truck (plus eat free ice cream). Then head down to the main branch to talk about the hopepunk book “A Taste of Gold and Iron.” On the 13th make a mini-greenhouse from compostable materials. And on the 20th, students from elementary through high school can pick up free school supplies at either branch of the library. The Lansingburgh branch is at 27 114th St. in Troy.
