Labor History: Beyond the Negotiation Table – Politics and Community Support with Seth Cohen

Aside from representing their workers when negotiating with employers, unions are also active in the political landscape and engage with local communities through supportive programs. We sat down with Seth Cohen, the President of the Capital District Area Federation where he provided insight into the responsibilities of the Capital District Area Labor Federation. The interview was conducted in 2022 by Corbey Ellison and Christian Giresi and edited by Emma Gill in 2024 as part of the Saratoga Labor History Digital Archive founded by Eric Morser.
