Marching In Memory Of Dr. Alice Green (RADIO)

Dr. Alice P. Green passed away suddenly on the afternoon of August 20, 2024. She was a civil rights leader, advocate for the marginalized, and a woman with a radical and fierce belief in human freedom. In memory of her work – and in a commitment to carry on – the Center for Law and Justice, which she founded, held on Friday, August 23, 2024, a candlelight vigil and march in the South End of Albany celebrating Dr. Green’s life and legacy. Here is unedited audio from the march. We hear from her husband Charles Touhey, Darryl Johnson, Eva, Dr. Sohaib Chekima and Jamaica Miles. By Mark Dunlea for Hudson Mohawk Magazine (This is the 10 minute radio version)
