Albany Common Council Update 8-19-24

On August 19, the Albany Common Council took up a resolution supporting the nurses at the Albany Medical Center as they attempt to get a new contract and remedy what they call unsafe staffing procedures. Local nurses spoke in favor of the resolution following its introduction by 6th Ward Council member Gabriella Romero.
