Supporting Communities Rather than Extracting from Them Benefits All

“Place-knowing” (rather than “place-making”) acknowledges that a place may already be made. Presenters at the Sanctuary’s Sunday event, PlaceKnowing and Ruderal Ecologies, Kahstoserakwathe Paulette Moore and Dr. Ted Jojola, will talk about how changemakers can engage Indigenous planning methods as they remediate contaminated and neglected land and make way for healthy communities and creating a podcast on the topic of PlaceKnowing.
In this interview we hear from Dr. Ted Jojola in this conversation with Sina Basila Hickey.
