Troy Library Youth Activities Oct24

Hear about the wide array of activities for youth — toddlers through teens — happening at the Troy Public Library in October. Carol Roberts, head of young people’s services at the main library, overviews numerous upcoming events, including the kickoff of collaboration with Dolly Parton’s “Imagination Library” to provide a free book each month to those who register (10/10). Others include a look at how the area’s “earliest inhabitants” survived (10/14), story time with esteemed dancer Ellen Sinapoli (10/17), info on birth control and safe sex for teens from Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood (also 10/17) and much more. Then Laurie Dreyer, manager of the Lansingburgh branch, describes the “Fangtastic Boo Bash Trunk or Treat” on 10/31 across the street in the parking lot of the Lansingburgh Boys & Girls Club.
