Please join us for a celebration of life honoring Don “Sonny Mac” McKever who was a beloved part of our community, known to many at the Sanctuary as Jazz Sanctuary DJ Sonny Mac. Please join us for a memorial service, followed by assorted soups, bread-n-butter, and refreshments.

Donald McKever (10/17/1944 – 10/25/2024) is survived by his children Perry Hamilton, DeanaGovanni Hamilton, Rousoull Hamilton, and Shahidah McKever.

We are committed to lowering the barriers to access for events at The Sanctuary for Independent Media.
