Albany Common Council Approves 2025 Budget

On November 18, the Albany Common Council took up Mayor Kathy Sheehan’s 2025 budget at the biweekly Council meeting. After months of discussions and deliberation as well as public comment, the council considered the final budget on Monday night. The first voice we hear is Sonia Frederick, chair of the finance committee along with Cory Ellis, the Council’s president.
