Aggressive Panhandling Law in Albany

The Public Safety Commission of the Albany Common Council met on January 28 and took up a proposed law adding penalties and making it easier to prosecute for aggressive panhandling. The hall was filled with many people on both sides of the issue and the public comment sign up sheet was full. Moses Nagel compiled some excerpts from the meeting.
