Backyard Composting 101

Join enthusiast composter Christian Grigoraskos to learn all about composting, from kitchen to finished compost. We will cover simple and low-cost methods for diverting food waste from the landfill and using it to build biologically robust, living soil. Participants will help to spread finished compost in the garden as well as assemble ingredients to build a new pile.
We are committed to lowering the barriers to access for events at The Sanctuary for Independent Media. For people who are hard of hearing or deaf, blind or low-vision, or whose physical limitations can interfere with a satisfying experience, let us know two weeks in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.
