Be The Media! WOOC 105.3FM Workshop: Host Training

If you’re interested in participating in this grand experiment, we’ll be training folks who are interested in being “hosts” in the afternoon block. This will involve learning how to operate the broadcast equipment, FCC rules, interviewing techniques, etc. Ideally we’ll have 5-10 or more people interested in working collectively to make this programming happen, first during afternoon (3-7 PM) and eventually morning (6-10 AM) drive time…
We are committed to lowering the barriers to access for events at The Sanctuary for Independent Media. For people who are hard of hearing or deaf, blind or low-vision, or whose physical limitations can interfere with a satisfying experience, let us know two weeks in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.
