Community Garden Work Day

Community Work & Play Days will happen on 3rd Fridays from 3:30-5:30 pm from May through October. We will have drop in activities for families and garden tasks for our adult volunteers.
July 19 will include a special guests from the Community Rising Project, who will offer their “Healing in our Vision” activity for children and families. They offered this painting & creativity opportunity at People’s Health Sanctuary healing day last summer, and it was lovely, so come out!
We are open for regular open garden hours every Friday through October. Join us in tending, harvesting, and caring for the plants and the land, or just take some time to rest amongst greenery and appreciate the gifts of the garden. These open hours are family-oriented and open to all!
We are committed to lowering the barriers to access for events at The Sanctuary for Independent Media. For people who are hard of hearing or deaf, blind or low-vision, or whose physical limitations can interfere with a satisfying experience, let us know two weeks in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.
