Indymedia 10th Anniversary Film Festival: Where Do We Go from Here?

Ten years after the Battle of Seattle and the explosion of global grassroots citizen journalism, known as Indymedia, the legacy reverberates in villages, cities, and countrysides around the world.
Join us for a retrospective screening of seminal Indymedia films, including, This is What Democracy Looks Like, Indymedia Showcase, Fourth World War, A Tribute to Brad Will and plenty of others. The film festival will go all day on Saturday November 7, 2009, will include a potluck dinner with Indymedia guests, and will end with Iranian-American singer Haale’s psychedelic Sufi trance rock!
We are committed to lowering the barriers to access for events at The Sanctuary for Independent Media. For people who are hard of hearing or deaf, blind or low-vision, or whose physical limitations can interfere with a satisfying experience, let us know two weeks in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.
