Northeast Animal Liberation Festival

May 7, 2011 @ 6:00 pm 10:00 pm EDT

The Northeast Animal Liberation Festival begins with a vegan potluck BBQ. It will be followed by a panel discussion which will include animal liberation activists Peter Young, Jenny Brown of Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary, and Camille Hankins of Win Animal Rights and No Kill New York. The panel will be followed by Peter Young’s new feature film Bold Native (2010), which follows an animal rights activist wanted by the U.S. Government for domestic terrorism, and takes on the issue of modern animal use and exploitation from several angles. Co-sponsored by Adirondack Animal Rights, Out of the Pits, Albany Vegetarian Network, X’s to O’s Vegan Bakery, Motive Company and Collar City Infoshop.
