Best Practices in Banana Time is a mixed reality talk show that takes place in a real life physical venue and simultaneously in the 3-D virtual environment of Second Life. Hosted by artist Stephanie Rothenberg’s virtual doppelgänger, Doctor Rodenberger, and her real life/Second Life co-host Robin Hoof (aka Alice Alexandrescu), the talk show explores new forms of online labor in the global, digital workplace.  This event will feature real life activists who use Second Life in conjunction with other social media as a tool for forming alternative communities, mobilizing and fundraising.  Co-sponsored by iEAR Presents! with TAP (Troy Architectural Project).
