Taína Asili y La Banda Rebelde with DJ Trumastr

In celebration of their debut album War Cry, Taína Asili y La Banda Rebelde will play a soulful infusion of Afro-Caribbean, reggae, rock, hip hop and flamenco, with local and international guest dancers, singers, and percussionists. They will be celebrating this grand accomplishment with a BIG CD release party, and it will also be Taína’s birthday!
The evening will start with an opening reception at 8 pm featuring music by DJ Trumastr of Beatchot Productions, with wine, beer and snacks as well as CD’s and t-shirts available for sale.
The following performance by Taína Asili y La Banda Rebelde will feature Victorio Reyes (Emcee, Broadcast Live); Ayana D (Soul Vocalist); Los Gringos (Brazilian Samba Percussion); Charlotte Oniel (Vocalist from Tanzania); Leah Young (African Dancer); Lisa Martinez (Flamenco Dancer); Marcus Anderson (Live Art); and more to be announced.
