Today, on the Hudson Mohawk Magazine, First, Mark Dunlea talks with Peter LaVenia on a recent paper he co-authored that provides a more eco-socialist perspective on the degrowth movement. Then, Elizabeth EP Press speaks with Timber’s Greg Campbell-Cohen on Troy’s questionable state of finances. Later on, Brea Barthel highlights Matt’s Refillery in downtown Troy; a business that works to reduce environmental waste by offering refillable household and hygiene products. After that, Marshall Hildreth brings us an interview with grassroots activist Max Micallef on the Student Suicide Prevention Act. Finally, we end with an archival piece from Mark Dunlea who spoke with students and artists from Averill Park who covered the exterior of the Doors of Hope Thrift Shop and Food Pantry in West Sand Lake to highlight the struggle against opioids.
