HMM 08 – 05 – 2024

Today, on the Hudson Mohawk Magazine,
We start off with Mark Dunlea talking with a co-chair of the organization Rensselaer County Women for Change about the group’s plans for the coming year.
Then, Rebecca Alston joins us in the studio for an interview exploring the process of choosing a college and tips for completing an application.
After that, Retired National Weather Service meteorologist Hugh Johson joins us for our weekly look at climate and his weather forecast. Expect to hear about heat and hurricanes!
Later on, we get a report from a recent meeting by residents of Danker Village Apartments and supporters about their opposition to a 32% rent increase and calls for better maintenance of the complex.
Finally, Brea talks with Chloe Whittaker at Troy Public Library about a number of great activities coming up this month at the main branch.
