Steve Pierce
Co-founder
Steve Pierce is a co-founder of The Sanctuary for Independent Media and former Executive Director of Media Alliance. His previous experience includes stints as Executive Director of the Deep Dish TV Network, New York NY, 1989-92; Assistant Manager of Pacifica Radio WBAI, New York NY, 1988-89; Program Director, at WWOZ Radio, New Orleans LA, 1987-88; and freelance journalist, New Orleans LA, 1980-87. He graduated from Antioch College in Yellow Springs OH and has a PhD from the Department of Science and Technology Studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy NY.
