Climate activists gathered in the War Room of the NYS Capitol Building on February 27 to urge Comptroller Tom Dinapoli to divest New York pension funds from fossil fuel companies. A bill presented by State Senator Liz Krueger and Assemblyperson Felix Ortiz would remove 4.5 billion in NY pension funds from the 200 “dirtiest” fuel companies over the next five years.
