Dr. Akhilesh Sista on Health Watch PART 2 APRIL 19 2019

In Part II of Health Watch, WOOC Host and Correspondent Lovonia Mallory interviews Dr. Akhilesh Sista the Section Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at NYU-Langone School of Medicine in Manhattan, New York. Dr Sista’s clinical expertise lies in the medical and endovascular treatment of pulmonary embolism (PE) and deep venous thrombosis. He has given >70 invited talks at international meetings on these topics and has served on national committees. He has authored or co-authored >50 peer-reviewed publications, including clinical practice standards in the medical and radiologic literature. He served as the Chairperson of the Society of Interventional Radiology Foundation’s Research Consensus Panel. On May 2, 2019 Dr. Sista will be the guest lecture at Albany Medical College Grand Round.
