Peter LaVenia On Julian Assange Arrest

Wikileaks co-founder Julian Assange has been expelled from the Ecuadorian Embassy in London and is being held in the United Kingdom for extradition to the United States, where he is very likely to face espionage charges.

The Upper Hudson Green Party is organizing an emergency protest on Tuesday April 16th at 5:30 pm outside the Leo O’Brien Federal Building at 1 Clinton Square in Albany to call for the immediate release of Julian Assange and all political prisoners.

Guy and Lavonia are joined by Green Party of New York co-chair Peter LaVenia in a live phone interview to tell us more about the issue and emergency protest.
