Jim Perry Progressive Leadership Award this Thursday

Ivette Alfonso, Citizen Action’s Board President, joined Blaise Bryant and Brea Barthel in a conversation about the organization’s “30th annual Jim Perry Progressive Leadership Award” on Thursday 9/15. Jim Perry was a founding member of Citizen Action of the Capital District and a lesbian/gay rights leader both in the Capital District and statewide.
Honorees are Shameka Andrews, Hon. Neil Breslin, Marco Flagg, Luke Grandis, and the organizing teams for the newly unionized workers at Starbucks stores in Albany and Latham and at Capital Roots in Troy.
