Joey is Raising Awareness about Houselessness in Troy, NY

Izel Joseph Dickerson also known as Joey has been camping out in Troy, NY since July 11, 2022, to draw attention to houselessness. After camping out for nine days in downtown Troy, he moved his encampment to Hoosick Street under the bridge. Hudson Mohawk Producer Elizabeth Press spoke with Joey while he was still downtown.

That was Izel Joseph Dickerson. On August 16 he plans on leaving on a cross-country tour to raise awareness about the housing epidemic.
