NY Denies Permit For Greenidge But CryptoCurrency Bill Still Not Signed

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has denied the air permit renewal for the Greenridge Generation cryptocurrency mining facility on Seneca Lake. DEC found that the facility didn’t meet the statewide greenhouse gas emission limits under the new climate law (CLCPA).
