Reidy On New Albany County Program On Gun Violence

The Albany County Legislature has created the DISCOVER program aimed at firearm safety and reducing illegal guns in the county. The program will fund a gun buyback program, distribute free gun locks, create a confidential tip line for illegal firearms as well as institute handgun safety courses through the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.
