Shades of Cocoa Hosts Juneteenth Pageant
To celebrate Juneteenth, Shades of Cocoa is holding a pageant on Friday, June 17, from 6 to 9 pm at the Troy Oakwood Community Center. Shades of Cocoa’s girls have been working all year for their first Juneteenth Pageant. Co-founder and friend of the show Debra Garrett joins us along with pageant participant Promise and board members Autumn and Deborah to tell us all about it.
