Troy Library November picks for adults
Looking for a new book suggestion? Ian Hauck, head Reference & Adult Services at Troy Public Library, shares three interesting options: “The Farmer’s Lawyer” (Sarah Vogel, 2022) tells how an attorney creatively used the law to help people keep their family farms. “The Bright Ages: A New History of Medieval Europe” (Gabriele & Perry, 2021) shows that what is often called the Dark Ages was actually a period of extensive trade interaction among cultures. “How Do We Relationship?” (Tamifull, various translators, 2020, 2021, 2022) is a series of Manga books exploring the process and challenges of developing a relationship. Upcoming activities include workshops on crafting earrings, star ornaments, and felt stocking ornaments. For details and registration, visit www.thetroylibrary.org.
