11 Horse Deaths Leads PETA to Call to Halt Saratoga Racing
The People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has called for a halt to horse racing at the Saratoga Race Track after 11 horse deaths since May. The horse racing complex Churchill Downs had to suspend racing after the Kentucky Debry due to a high number of horse deaths.
