Equality for Troy on Equity, Safety, and Resources

Equality for Troy is “combating systemic injustices and racial inequity in The City of Troy, NY and Rensselaer County.” They were a part of the recent Healing Day from People’s Health Sanctuary in July and will participate again on August 12. Director and founder of Equality for Troy Tasheca Medina spoke with Sally Becker and Mark Dunlea of Hudson Mohawk Magazine about what resources are needed in Troy, harm reduction solutions, and how community is the first defense in safety.
