Halloween Costumes and Masquerade by Phillis Galembo
From a homemade ghost mask made out of a flour sack to twins wearing Tweedledee and Tweedledum costumes, Phyllis Galembo photographed a series titled “Dressed for Thrills: 100 Years of Halloween Costumes and Masquerade.” Sina Basila Hickey, Hudson Mohawk Magazine correspondent and former student of Galembo, interviewed her about this series and what she’s learned about Halloween.
