Radix Center Tapping Maple Trees In Albany
The Radix Ecological Sustainability Center in the South End of Albany is working with young people to tap maple trees in the city to produce maple syrup. It is part of its mission to promote environmental stewardship and ecological literacy through educational programs, including the role urban forests play in making cities healthier for residents, particularly in marginalized communities.
