UREC (July 4th Oration) Marcus Anderson, Deputy Director

On Tuesday, July 4, 2023, Hudson Mohawk Magazine Roaming Labor Correspondent Willie Terry attended the Underground Railroad Education Center, “July 4 Oration,” at the Myers Residence in Albany. Terri Leonini and Greg Artzner of the
Nationally Known folk duo Magpie in collaboration with Dr. Kim Harris of the Nationally known Kim and Reggie Harris folk duo, provided the music. There were speeches read and a UREC Litany of Remembrance of civil rights, and underground railroad participants. In this segment, Willie interviewed Marcus Anderson, Deputy Director of the Underground Railroad Education Center, about the program.
