Children’s Museum Saratoga Provides Activity Backpack

An activity backpack full of a variety of information and equipment relating to the collection of macro-invertebrates was brought to the Sanctuary by the Children’s Museum Saratoga. The goal of this project is to encourage children and their parents to take a closer look at the world around us. By doing so, they will notice trends in what they observe. Recording those trends and collecting data can supply information about certain areas, seasons, animals, and natural relationships. Jacob Baldwin spoke with Sina Basila Hickey to get more details on this project and how to use the backpack.
