Climate Groups Question Hochul’s Delays On Climate Action

Governor Hochul recently announced that she expects NY to fail to meet its climate goals for 2030 and argues that the CLCPA needs to be revisited – namely, weakened – since the “science” has changed since the law was adopted 5 years ago. Climate activists argue that what has changed is that global warming and extreme weather is accelerating faster than anticipated.
