German Holiday Traditions

German Christmas markets are incredibly special. This tradition is often replicated around the world. Former German teacher at Farnsworth Middle School and Guilderland High School, commonly known as “Frau Hickey,” spoke with Hudson Mohawk Magazine about her nostalgia of her homeland’s markets and other German winter traditions. She spoke with Sina Basila Hickey and Mark Dunlea.
