Palestinian Rights Groups Protest For Weapons Embargo At Watervliet Arsenal (full)

On Saturday, Sept. 14 more than 100 people attended a Palestinian rights protest against weapons manufacturers at the Watervliet Arsenal. As recently as 2017, Watervliet Arsenal was the designated manufacturer for Elbit’s $103 Million direct contract with the IDF for mortar weapons systems. Groups have submitted a FOI request for current contracts at the Arsenal. We hear from Chris Garramone of the Party of Socialism and Liberation; Keren Carmeli of Jewish Voice for Peace; a mid-Hudson Valley peace activist; and Amanda from CodePink.
